Supper With the Norths

"Who's that?" -Lillian, Daddy and I had an early supper with Great Uncle Bill, Great Aunt Caryl, and Cousins Patrick and Rob at Red Lobster.

Lillian perching on Great Uncle Bill's shoulder.  She was fascinated by his hair and gave it a couple good yanks!

Not Quite Ready For Solids....

After our last Well Child visit, Dr. Ong told us that Lillian can start eating solids.  Excited, I went out and got some dehydrated rice meal and prepared Lillian her first 'solids' snack.  I was eager to get her started since a fuller belly means mommy and daddy will get a better nights sleep...  Unfortunately, our little princess wasn't quite ready to part from a purely breast milk diet and spit everything out immediately, "YUCKY!!"

"I've had better!"

"Nope, don't even think about it!"

Hill Family and Jenkins Get Together!

Lillian, Keith and I drove to Grandpa Oli's house for a Hill Family get-together this past weekend (Dec. 5-6).  It was a long 3 hour drive, but Lillian cozied up to her friends and slept most of the way there and back.  Upon arriving in Willows, we made a quick trip to the Willow's Catholic church where our friend Rita Jenkins was selling Seas chocolates at a local craft fair (very tempting by the way!).  Once we took in at all of the goodies, arts and crafts, we drove out to Glenn and had a hoot'n time visiting with Great Grandpa Oli, Great-Great Uncle Bob, Great Grandma Louella, Grandpa Stan, Great Uncle Rod, Great Uncle Andy, Great Aunt Dianne, Great Uncle Wayne and Great Aunt Kate.  Wow! What a wonderful time we had!  This was the first time many of my family members had met Lillian, so introductions were a very joyous occasion.  After visiting and having dinner at Grandpa's, we drove back to town and spent the night at Rita's where we visited with her, Rudy, my God sister Melissa, her boyfriend Chris and their dog Jules.  We had a lovely time catching up on new times and reminiscing about the old.  Lillian was very vocal and did her fair share of talking too :)  What a wonderful weekend it was!!  Thank you all for the good times!

With Great Grandma Louella!  She had lovely Christmas decorations and she made such a great meal too!

With Daddy.  Great Grandpa Oli (upper left) and Great Uncle Rod (left) visiting and drinking yummy coffee.

Great Grandpa Oli!

Great Uncle Rod! (Nice shoes by the way)

Great Uncle Rod and Bella!

Lillian and I made a surprise visit to Great Uncle Rod's where we were energetically entertained by Bella (beautiful Boxer).  Lillian kicked back on her Great Uncle's lap and enjoyed every minute of it!
