Ever since she's started crawling and more so since she's began walking, Lillian often sports nice little bruises on her forehead where she's taken a tumble!

After FINALLY finding a parking spot, we were ready to go!

"Hey, what's that rustling noise...?"

Lillian looked over her daddy's shoulder at the trail and amazing scenery that lay ahead.

While climbing what seemed to be the never ending steps to the top of Vernal Falls, we took a break to enjoy and capture this magnificent waterfall!

Lillian was so cute!  She took in everything and was a constant little chatterbox telling us all about what she saw :)

We made it!  Daddy and Lillian chill in the cool breeze at the top of Vernal Falls.

While hiking back down, Lillian totally conked out!  

We took a break and enjoyed watching some tenacious little squirrels.

"Hey, that was easy!  When can we do it again?"

Afternoon At The Park!

We spent nearly an hour and a half at the park on Thursday!  Lillian ran around investigating bees (yikes!), flowers, tree bark, grass, toys and yes, every piece of litter she could find.... eeeeeeewwwwww!

Off And A Walk'n!

This morning, we took a shortcut between the vineyards and walked along a dirt road for a bit.  I don't mind Lillian walking on her own here, for it's a much softer landing :)  She darted from one side of the road to the other looking at weeds and rocks!

"Ooooooo, what's that... I must investigate..."

"Hmmmmm, looks like a uniquely shaped rock... I must add it to my collection!"

Towards the end of our walk, Lillian enjoyed a little time at the race track! "Go Blue Car go!!"

Ice Cream Run!

We stopped by Baskin Robbins this afternoon and grabbed a soft serve ice cream!  Lillian enjoyed walking all around the shop and greeting other visitors.

She was having so much fun the she squealed as she darted from one side of the store to the other!

When we got home, Lillian modeled a new hat!

A Day In San Francisco!

"Don't even think about picking me up!  I wanna keep walk'n!" Ever since Lillian has learned how to walk, that's all she wants to do :)  

While driving along the coast, Lillian fell asleep and mommy and daddy had some time to do a little sight seeing!

She REALLY liked playing in the sand and enjoyed picking it up and watching it pour out of her hands!

While playing in the sand, she did a face plant!  It didn't bother her a bit, but when she lifted her head, we noticed that her face was covered with sand.  

"I love the beach!"

Daddy, Lillian and I enjoyed playing tag with the waves!

Asleep At The Wheel!

Last week, while on one of our morning walks, Lillian fell fast asleep! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

When we arrived at the park, Lillian was fast asleep.  Once awake, however, she would be off and running...

She enjoyed picking up every interesting thing she found!

San Luis Reservoir!

Lillian and I drove to the reservoir yesterday.

At first, Lillian wasn't too sure of the wind and waves...

Before long, she had built up her confidence and did a little exploring.  She picked out two rocks that we later brought home as treasure!
