She's gotten very dexterous and is manipulating her toys by moving them from one hand to the other... and to her mouth often.  She really enjoys this hippo toy-teether and has fun making lots of noise banging it against her chair!

Lillian and I went to a kiddy store and she picked out this jester hat for her Dad!  Doesn't it look perfect on him! He-he-he...

Eating Her Peas!

Friday, we decided to move on from cereals to vegetables.  During previous solid introducing attempts, Lillian didn't want anything to do with the cereals we were offering.  To our surprised, she absolutely loved her peas and even opened her mouth for more!

We had the most success when feeding he with our fingers.

She enjoyed the 'squishy' sensation of mushed peas between her fingers.

Chuck-e-Cheese!!

Lillian and I went to Chuck-e-Cheese with the Moms Club today! We played all sorts of games and got a tour of their kitchen!

Sitting Up On Her Own!

In less than eight hours, Lillian went from tipping over every thirty seconds to sitting up on her own and entertaining herself for well over ten minutes!

Oak Valley Hike

Lillian, Keith and I went for a hike outside our home today.  Other than hiking in the redwood forest outside of Santa Cruz when she was seven weeks old, this was one of Lillian's first hikes EVER!  She was much more aware this go round and was paying close attention to the world around her.  For a good portion of the hike, she was giving out what sounded like shrieks of joy!  The hills were absolutely beautiful... there was quite a bit of fog intermixed with the oaks, which gave the area a very whimsical feel.

Five Months Old!

Lillian absolutely loved her Elmo stocking!  This is an excellent profile of her reaching for him while he sang, "Jingle Bells."

This and the following two photos were taken yesterday while on a 2 mile walk around our home.  Her daddy was doing silly jumping jacks behind me.  Lillian thought he was a hoot :)
